Family,
I'm glad that everyone is doing great and having a good time. My favorite scripture is D&C 11:15-17, sorry it took so long to get to you but I never bring my scriptures when I come to email. Happy Birthday Trevor (in 11 days). I don't really know what to talk about this time, I don't have a whole lot to say but as I'm rambling I'll think of something. Spanish is going okay, It's a challenge but challenges are what make you stronger. I really am enjoying my time here and loving life. I had a half-way done with the MTC interview last week and the counselor in the branch said to make sure to tell you I'm doing well. He said that I'm doing well and that parents like to hear that so I'm doing well and life is good.
Oh I thought of something else to write about. Last week Elder Ballard came and spoke about being a master communicator. He said that we can't just proclaim the gospel because many people aren't ready for it. We need to know how to communicate so we are able to have pleasant informative talks about the church and how it can really help people. On Sunday Sheri Dew spoke to us, It was awesome. She spoke on doing three things that will guarantee that our mission (both life and full-time) will stay on course. She said we must know our relationship with God and who we really are, we must know who Christ is and how His Atonement can truly affect us and comfort us, she also said that we must understand how we receive personal revelation. A way spiritual week with a lot of cool stuff going down.
I only have another 3 weeks in the MTC, can you believe it. I should be getting travel plans next week sometime, probably on Wednesday. I can't wait for the field. I don't feel ready and I know that the first few weeks are going to be rough but I'm so excited. Well I don't really have anything else to say but this. . .I love and miss you all. See you in 23 months.
