So, we took Caleb to the MTC yesterday and the most ridiculous thing happened! Mom didn't cry! Like not even a trickle!!! Until....... she looked in the back seat and saw me balling my eyes out as though Caleb had just died!!! He's only been gone for one day and yet, both Mom and I have already sent him an email from each of us! We're trying to get back into our routine but it's just not the same! Seperation is a really hard thing!!!

Well, it's official!!! Caleb was set apart as an elder today! Elder Caleb Duncan! He leaves tomorrow for the MTC. All of the kids are skipping school and we are going up to Provo to enjoy our last day with him for the next two years!!! He has to be at the missionary training center at 1:45. My English teacher told me to tell mom that MTC really stands for Mother's Torture Chamber. It's a very good description for what Mom will be going through tomorrow!

Farewell
Caleb gave his farewell talk in church yesterday. He did a great job!!! His talk was about the Atonement and I heard many people come up and compliment him. It was wonderful! For those of you who don't know, Caleb is going to the McAllen Texas, spanish-speaking mission. It's very south in the Rio Grande Valley. He could practically jump into the Rio Grande from where he is. Though he probably shouldn't. I've heard it's very shallow. Don't do it Caleb! Don't jump!!!
